MOSCOW, Jan 13 (PRIME) -- Mercedes-Benz will start construction of a car plant in Russia’s Moscow region in 2018, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov told reporters on Friday.
“The interdepartmental commission made a positive decision at the end of last year, so the formal moment connected with the signing will be implemented very soon,” he said.
“Regarding investments, the company will launch construction of the facility in the Moscow Region next year, after it has done all the necessary design works. The start of production of cars usually comes three years after that.”
